President's Message

Dear Xi Members,

Our apologies to all of you for not doing a newsletter before the December 2nd meeting.  This was the first time we missed one since Paula and I became Co-Presidents in July 2020, but we can explain!  I broke my shoulder in an unfortunate accident in late October and as many of you know, Paula is very busy taking care of her father in her home.

We will do everything we can to complete our last issue before the May meeting.

It has been a good year so far for the Chapter.  We had great attendance at our October meeting both in person and on Zoom.  It was a great meeting but our full agenda took us far into the evening.   Also, we exceed all other chapters in the three-county area in people who have registered for the District V meeting.  With some new registrants in the past week, we have 12 people going to the district meeting so far.

On February 6,  2024, at 4:30 PM please join us at the Clubhouse for our chapter meeting.  Barbara Sabin has helped us secure another great speaker, Dr Kelley Jackson.  She is part of a research study by Florida Atlantic Medical School in Brain Health. Whether young or old, we all know of someone who is challenged by brain issues. If you wish to bring a friend, please do so.  Members should try to bring a simple snack to share.at the meeting.  See you there!
